The "Inheriting the Legacy of Qi Huang, Building the Path of Medicine" TCM Camp, organized by the TCM Student Union, concluded successfully on 27 April 2025. Held over two days, the camp welcomed students from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and, for the first time, Foundation in TCM students.
The camp featured a range of activities aimed at helping participants explore the heritage and core principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in interactive ways. Students took part in a "Herbal Dyeing Workshop" where they created eco-friendly tote bags using medicinal herbs, and engaged with self-designed TCM-themed minigames that reinforced their understanding of key concepts.
A lecture by Dr. Yow Lai Har on clinical case analysis and the future of TCM offered academic insights, followed by a "TCM Story Creation Workshop" where participants integrated traditional elements into original narratives.
Other highlights included the "Ancient Medical Enigma" murder mystery game, which encouraged diagnostic thinking through a role-play scenario, and the "Water Battle Carnival: TCM Defense War", designed to foster teamwork in a relaxed setting.
The camp concluded with a closing ceremony and sharing session, where participants reflected on their experiences and enjoyed student performances in an informal, cheerful atmosphere.
Participants expressed appreciation for the camp’s approach to learning, noting that it enhanced their understanding of TCM and strengthened connections between junior and senior students.
