Adrian Chieng Hong Jie, a student from the Artificial Intelligence programme, School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (SAIR), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), has reached a significant academic milestone by presenting and publishing his research at 2025 International Conference on the Leadership and Management of Projects in the Digital Age (ICLAMP2025).

Held from 13 to 14 April 2025, the conference was organzied by the Applied Science University in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Adrian’s paper, titled “Integration of GRU and LSTM with Fundamental and Technical Analysis for Stock Price Prediction”, was co-authored with his supervisor, Dr. Hakim Qaid Abdullah Abdulrab.

The research explores the integration of advanced deep learning models - Gated Recurrent Units (GRU) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) - with both fundamental and technical financial analysis to enhance the accuracy of stock price predictions. This innovative approach reflects the growing synergy between artificial intelligence and financial forecasting.
