ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Applicants must possess a PhD degree in a related discipline;

2. Track record in research, ability to contribute to the research strengths of the discipline, through high-quality international publications and/or attracting competitive external research grants in the related field;

3. Evidence of high-quality teaching ability;

4. Ability to supervise undergraduate and/or postgraduate students for final year/research project;

5. Outstanding English communication skills;

6. Indication of the capacity to engage as a member of committees for the University community;

7. Ability to contribute to the administrative duties and governance at any or all of school, faculty or University level;

8. Ability to work positively and cooperatively with staff and students.

1) Applicants must possess a Master's (only applicable to Malaysian citizens) or PhD degree in a discipline related to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with a Bachelor’s degree in a TCM-related field as a prerequisite.

2) Applicants with a valid practitioner qualification certificate issued by the Traditional & Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Division are preferred.

3) Outstanding Chinese and English communication skills;

4) For Position 6: A Master’s in English with a background in linguistics or education is required.

5) Proficiency in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.

6) Must possess a valid teaching permit for related MPU courses at degree-level.

7) Experience in managing large groups of local and international students.

8) A team player who can collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to academic development.

9) Ability to teach more than three modules is an added advantage.
